Los Grammys de la Música Chilena, “Premios Pulsar”, que se organizan año a año por la Sociedad Chilena de Autores e Intérpretes Musicales (SCD) cuyo objetivo es premiar a los mas destacados géneros musicales chilenos.
Catalina Rojas es la artista encargada de crear la escultura llamada «El Aplauso».
La escultura es, como explica su creadora, un choque de energías, y se ha representado como dos manos estilizadas en bronce y aluminio: “El Aplauso” es la fuente de una especial energía, la que se crea entre el espectador y el artista, y se transmite a través de las manos y su cálido sonido. “Es un verdadero honor que la SCD me haya invitado a crear esta escultura para que la reciban mis amigos músicos”, explica Catalina Rojas.

The Grammys of Chilean Music, «Pulsar Awards», which are organized every year by the Chilean Society of Authors and Musical Performers (SCD) whose objective is to reward the most outstanding Chilean musical genres.
Catalina Rojas is the artist in charge of creating the sculpture called «El Aplauso».
The sculpture is, as its creator explains, a clash of energies, and it has been represented as two stylized hands in bronze and aluminum: «The Applause» is the source of a special energy, which is created between the viewer and the artist, and it is transmitted through the hands and its warm sound. «It is a true honor that the SCD has invited me to create this sculpture for my musician friends to receive,» explains Catalina Rojas.
